Peanut Butter & Jelly Sessions
At Mental Heart Healing House, we believe that a strong emotional connection between parent and child is the foundation for healing. The Peanut Butter & Jelly Sessions were created to gently support mothers and their neurotypical children through emotional, behavioral, or grief-related challenges that may be affecting their bond.

Peanut Butter & Jelly Sessions are a four-month, private bonding support program designed for neurotypical children and their moms. This healing experience is ideal for:
Each month, the child receives a one-on-one therapeutic play session while the mother unwinds in the Healing Lounge — a dedicated space for quiet reflection and emotional restoration.
Moms also receive monthly take-home bonding kits and children’s books to continue the healing process at home.
The program concludes with a fun, private bonding experience — a meaningful date designed to strengthen presence, trust, and shared joy.
This program is not therapy — it’s relational healing through connection.

Below are some of the most common questions families ask about this program. If you need more personalized support, feel free to reach out to our team directly.
This program is designed for neurotypical children (ages 3–11) and their moms who are currently experiencing strain in their emotional connection — whether due to behavioral challenges, grief, or life changes. It is best suited for those seeking non-clinical bonding support rather than clinical therapy.
Each month, families receive a curated bonding kit that includes a themed activity, connection tools, and a storybook designed to spark dialogue and foster shared time. These kits are tailored to help moms and children build new rituals of closeness and healing at home.
While this program was specifically created to support moms and children, we recognize that family dynamics vary. If a primary female caregiver (e.g., grandmother, aunt, foster mom) plays a maternal role, they may qualify. Please reach out to discuss your specific situation.
