LOUD is a raw, real, and relational healing experience for moms navigating complex grief — including:
- Terminal illness or anticipatory grief
- Death from miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death (4 weeks or under)
- Abortion grief, traumatic births, rainbow pregnancies, and adoption
- Includes private sessions, healing kits, memory-making, labor support, and post-loss bonding care
- Loss of their own mother
- Death of a marriage, relationship, or part of their identity as a woman/mother
This program meets grieving mothers where they are — emotionally and physically. Sessions may take place at the Healing House or in spaces of comfort like the participant’s home, hospital, or hospice.
Try It With Me is a key feature of LOUD: hands-on grief immersion that includes movement, creativity, conversation, and guided social connection.
This is not talk therapy. It’s co-healing. It’s showing up in the mess — and choosing to feel, move, and breathe again.

Below are some of the most common questions families ask about this program. If you need more personalized support, feel free to reach out to our team directly.
This program is for grieving mothers (biological, adoptive, or chosen) who have experienced deep loss related to their own death, the death of a child (miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death), the passing of their own mother, or the breakdown of a family/marital relationship. LOUD offers community and emotional support — not clinical therapy.
Each session includes shared activities that foster presence, connection, movement, and creative grief expression. Moms are invited to explore heavy emotions through simple rituals, group play, hands-on activities, and quiet moments of release — either at the Healing House or a location that feels safest to them.
Absolutely. LOUD complements traditional counseling by offering a safe, community-focused environment to move grief out of the body and into the open. It’s a space to live with grief rather than talk about it — a vital next step for many women after therapy.
